This dive site used to be have a difficult entrance/exit but it is now becoming more popular since it is covered with sand. At the beach, this dive site offers a beautiful view. Underwater, divers will find an active aquatic life. The left side of the cove is a rockwall that extends to 60 feet under the water. Divers came here only for the views and the habitats along this wall. The right side of the cove offers a variety of New England marine plants.
At the end of the router 128, turn left at the light onto route 127. Follow route 127 for about 6.1 miles. Right after you pass the sign "Welcome to Glouceter", the parking lot is on the right side.
Resident parking only. Park down the street around but not at the restaurant.
Even it is a new park but it is known to be a popular spot for divers. The park is packed with activities so divers can dive while family members enjoy the park. The quarry is conveniently located 20 minutes south of Hartford in Portland, Conn., across the Connecticut River from Middletown.

From Route 9 North or South in Middletown, proceed eastbound over the Arrigoni Bridge (Route 17) and take your first right onto Lower Main Street. Continue to the end of the street and take a right on Brownstone Avenue; proceed under the bridge. The main quarry entrance will be on your right after you pass Silver Street.
Free parking in front of the park.
